Thank you for stopping by. I am an enthusiastic and hard‐working journalist seeking to move into Communications and Public Relations. For more than three years I have been telling stories in my local community of Bend, Oregon. From hard-breaking news of a police-involved shooting to a light-hearted feature piece of a local man taking off in a lawn chair powered by helium balloons, I have been front and center working with area officials, public relations professionals, and the general public.
My job requires multi-tasking daily, seeking out multiple story ideas, setting up interviews, and effectively writing, editing and producing compelling stories.
In more than three years I have developed and maintained relationships with representatives from organizations and the community. I have exceptional communication skills, I’m organized, and a quick learner. I will seamlessly transition into the exciting Public Relations and Communications industry.
